We partner with <a href="https://www.owt.swiss/en/news/owt-and-anthropic-form-collaboration/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">Anthropic behind Alpha Factory, </a>Switzerland's first centre of excellence for human-centered AI adoption.We are strengthening our team of experts and looking for a passionate Senior Developer to drive transformation across leading Swiss organizations, based in our Geneva office.<h3>Job Description:</h3>Open Web Technology has an immediate opening for a Senior Java Developer in Geneva with a minimum of 5 years of development experience.As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working with our Project Managers, Technical Team Leads, Designers, and Engineers to conceive, build and support website and collaboration platforms for large enterprises.Your mission:<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain complex applications and systems, leveraging Claude Code and modern engineering best practices</li><li>Contribute to architectural decisions by proposing innovative technical solutions</li><li>Work in an agile environment and apply DevSecOps best practices</li><li>Support the Technical Team Lead in code reviews and the writing of technical specifications</li><li>Mentor Junior Developers and share best practices</li></ul>
Your qualifications:<ul><li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development</li><li>Strong expertise in Spring frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security)</li><li>Knowledge of frontend technologies (React or equivalent)</li><li>Genuine passion for AI with hands-on experimentation across LLMs and strong familiarity with prompt engineering, agent design — eager to bring this energy into client projects</li><li>Comfortable with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools</li><li>Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS…) and/or use containerization concepts with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies</li><li>Fluency in French and English (minimum C1 level); German is a plus</li></ul>
