<p>We are looking for an experienced Head of Custody & Compliance to lead and develop our digital asset custody, compliance infrastructure, and financial operations.</p><p>We need someone with deep, hands-on experience in crypto custody, AML/KYC, transaction monitoring, and digital asset operations.</p><p>You should understand how these systems work in practice, how to build them at scale, and how to balance regulatory requirements, security, and customer experience.</p><p>This is a leadership opportunity for someone who wants to go beyond traditional compliance management and take ownership of an entire business direction.</p><h3><strong>You will work closely with our engineering, product, legal, and executive teams to build secure, efficient, and scalable financial infrastructure.</strong></h3><h3><br /><strong>Responsibilities</strong></h3><h3>Custody & Digital Asset Operations</h3><ul><li>Lead and develop custody infrastructure and digital asset operations.</li><li>Oversee cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, and transaction processing.</li><li>Manage relationships with custody providers such as Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, and similar platforms.</li><li>Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of digital asset operations.</li><li>Identify and resolve operational risks, bottlenecks, and critical incidents.</li></ul><h3>Compliance & AML/KYC</h3><ul><li>Lead the operational implementation of KYC, AML, and Travel Rule requirements.</li><li>Develop and optimize customer verification and transaction monitoring processes.</li><li>Build effective compliance workflows, including case management, escalation procedures, and operational controls.</li><li>Improve compliance efficiency through automation and technology.</li><li>Work closely with Legal, Risk, and relevant compliance stakeholders to ensure regulatory requirements are properly implemented.</li></ul><h3>Fraud Prevention & Risk Management</h3><ul><li>Develop and improve fraud detection and prevention processes.</li><li>Oversee transaction monitoring and suspicious activity detection.</li><li>Reduce fraud exposure while minimizing unnecessary restrictions for legitimate customers.</li><li>Monitor operational risks and continuously improve internal controls.</li></ul><h3>Providers & Infrastructure</h3><ul><li>Manage relationships with custody, KYC, AML, and blockchain infrastructure providers.</li><li>Evaluate and select technology solutions.</li><li>Negotiate commercial terms and service agreements.</li><li>Work with engineering teams on integrations and infrastructure improvements.</li></ul><h3>Leadership & Business Development</h3><ul><li>Lead the Custody & Compliance direction and its operational development.</li><li>Manage priorities, resources, and cross-functional initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve existing solutions.</li><li>Define and monitor operational performance metrics.</li><li>Contribute to product strategy and business decisions related to custody and compliance.</li><li>Work directly with senior leadership on strategic initiatives.</li></ul>
<ul><ul><li>Strong professional background in crypto custody, compliance, AML/KYC, or digital asset operations.</li><li>Experience working in a cryptocurrency exchange, custody provider, crypto wallet, digital asset platform, or crypto-focused financial institution.</li><li>Deep understanding of AML/KYC, transaction monitoring, Travel Rule, and crypto compliance processes.</li><li>Practical experience with custody infrastructure and digital asset transaction flows.</li><li>Experience working with custody, compliance, or blockchain infrastructure providers.</li><li>Proven ability to build, manage, and optimize operational processes.</li><li>Experience leading teams or complex cross-functional initiatives.</li><li>Strong understanding of operational and regulatory risks in the crypto industry.</li><li>Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul><li>Nice-to-have</li><ul><li>Experience with Fireblocks, Copper, BitGo, or similar custody solutions.</li><li>Experience with Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Sumsub, or similar compliance platforms.</li><li>Experience managing product development or working closely with engineering teams.</li><li>Understanding of product metrics, customer conversion, and business economics.</li><li>Experience scaling custody or compliance infrastructure in a fast-growing crypto company.</li><li>Previous experience as Head of Compliance, Head of Custody, Head of Crypto Operations, or similar.</li></ul></ul><p></p>
