The Copthorne Tara Hotel Kensington is seeking an Assistant Night Manager who will support the Night Manager in ensuring all night audit procedures are completed accurately and efficiently, while maintaining the safety, security and smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift.The Assistant Night Manager Key Responsibilities will include:· Deputising for the Night Manager in their absence and overseeing Front of House Operations during the night shift. · Managing Front Office activities and ensuring adequate staffing levels across all operational departments including Reception, Concierge, Security, Room Service, Engineering, Switchboard and Food & Beverage outlets. · Supporting the Night Auditors and Reception team to maintain high service standards and operational excellence. · Monitoring room inventory, room allocations and hotel occupancy to maximise room revenue and minimise overbooking risks. · Assisting with night audit procedures, ensuring all rates, market segments, nationalities and financial transactions are correctly recorded. · Managing VIP arrivals, guest requests, complaints and service recovery to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. · Maintaining sufficient operational supplies and ensuring all nightly procedures are completed efficiently. · Ensuring a comprehensive handover is completed at the end of each shift.The Experience & Qualifications for Assistant Night Manager:<ul><li>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Excellent written/verbal communication and the ability to communicate across all levels of an organization.</li><li>Confident individual who is adept in prioritising and managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to take the initiative and deal with unexpected situations and last minute changes.</li><li>Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential data.</li></ul>The successful candidate will be:<ul><li>Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, resourceful with excellent attention to detail</li><li>Demonstrate excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills with the customers and other hotel departments</li><li>Team worker</li><li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment</li></ul>About the HotelThe Copthorne Tara Hotel London Kensington is an elegant contemporary 4-star hotel in prestigious Kensington, located two minutes’ walk to High Street Kensington Underground station, making exploring easy.
