Working within a skilled, veteran-friendly team, you will ensure the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.<ul><li>Execute diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and repairs across fleet platforms.</li><li>Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections (MEIs).</li><li>Resolve defects and carry out fleet modifications/upgrades to strict standards.</li><li>Maintain high standards of site Health & Safety.</li></ul>Location & CommuteConveniently located near Salisbury Plain with easy access via the A36 and A350. Ideal for local commuters (Bath, Salisbury, Trowbridge, Frome, Westbury) or lodge-based contractors nationwide.
To be considered, candidates must provide proof of one of the following:<ul><li>Trade Qualifications: Proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or Military Trade Proficiency Certificates — e.g., REME Vehicle Mechanic Class 1/2, Armourer Class 1/2, or RAF/RN equivalent).</li><li>Security Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Clearance (fully sponsored and managed by E-ppl).</li><li>Experience: Proven technical/mechanical background on light vehicles, fleet assets, or military equipment platforms.</li></ul>
