This is a very enjoyable role with a great company and fantastic conditions and facilities.What’s on offer:<ul><li>Rate of Pay:</li><ul><li>£13.00 per hour (Day Shift)</li><li>£13.50 per hour (Night Shift)</li></ul><li>Shift Pattern: </li><ul><li>We are recruiting for the following shift patterns and hours:</li><ul><li>Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Monday - Friday 14:00-22:00</li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Sunday - Thursday 22:00-06:00</li></ul></ul><li>Staff parking.</li><li>Weekly pay (Every Friday).</li><li>Temp to Perm (performance based).</li></ul>Start Date : <ul><li>ASAP.</li></ul> Key Duties:<ul><li>Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.</li><li>Sorting, scanning and processing stock in line with operational requirements.</li><li>Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch.</li><li>Handling and moving cartons, pallets and other warehouse stock.</li><li>Supporting goods-in, stock control and outbound distribution activities.</li><li>Ensuring products are correctly labelled, scanned and routed to the appropriate locations.</li><li>Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems where required.</li><li>Identifying and reporting damaged goods, stock discrepancies and operational issues.</li><li>Working towards daily productivity, accuracy and quality targets.</li><li>Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse environment.</li><li>Following all site health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.</li><li>Supporting colleagues and team leaders to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.</li><li>Reliable individuals with a strong work ethic and good attendance.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.</li><li>Good attention to detail and a positive attitude.</li><li>Ability to follow instructions and work safely.</li><li>Strong teamwork and communication skills.</li><li>Flexibility to support operational requirements.</li><li>Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions.</li><li>Ability to count accurately and to perform simple math calculations.</li><li>Ability to move products which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations.</li><li>Successful candidates will need to partake in a drug and alcohol test during the interview process. </li><li>Due to the location of this warehouse a Driving Licence is preferred.</li></ul>PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.For an opportunity to interview for this fantastic role, please submit your CV to apply!Optime Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
