You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform diagnostic inspections, routine servicing, and complex repairs on designated fleet platforms.</li><li>Complete rectification maintenance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.</li><li>Execute fleet upgrades, reworks, and resolve defects identified during quality examinations.</li><li>Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety guidelines.</li></ul>Location & CommuteSituated conveniently in Ashchurch (Tewkesbury) with immediate access to the M5 (Junction 9) and A46.<ul><li>Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Evesham, Redditch, and the wider Gloucestershire/Worcestershire area.</li></ul>
To be considered for this role, candidates must provide proof of the following:<ul><li>Qualifications: Valid proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent) Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.</li><li>Experience: Proven background as a Vehicle Technician (Fleet, Commercial, or Ex-Forces/Military vehicle background strongly preferred).</li><li>Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance (fully sponsored, managed, and paid for by E-ppl).</li></ul>
