We are looking for skilled, adaptable Auto Electricians to perform complex electrical reworks, custom loom building, component installations, and diagnostic fault-finding on new vehicle platforms (including P/HEV and M/HEV systems).Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Electrical System Reworks: Install, integrate, and modify complex vehicle wiring systems, body electronics, and harnesses to strict OEM build specifications.</li><li>Loom Building & Wiring Schematics: Read and interpret OEM electrical wiring diagrams, build custom looms, and perform precise circuit modifications.</li><li>Diagnostics & Rectification: Execute electrical diagnostics, testing, fault-finding, and rectification on assembly and prototype vehicles.</li><li>Vehicle Trim & Assembly: Remove and refit interior/exterior trims and light mechanical components as required during electrical work.</li><li>Quality & Safety: Maintain high build standards while adhering strictly to workshop Health & Safety policies.</li></ul>Location & CommuteConveniently located in Solihull, with direct access via the M42, A45, and A34.<ul><li>Local Commuters: Easily accessible from Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Redditch, Shirley, Tamworth, and the wider West Midlands.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Qualifications: Recognised Auto Electrical Qualification Certificate, NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent).</li><li>Security Clearance: Must be eligible and able to achieve standard background & security checks (fully managed and supported by E-ppl).</li><li>Experience: Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in an OEM, automotive manufacturing, or high-volume vehicle rework environment.</li></ul>
