We prioritize innovation and inspirational nutrition to drive our business forward and continue developing and growing.Job PurposeResponsible for the day-to-day receipt, storage, and distribution within the company’s centralized distribution center.Key Responsibilities <ul> <li>Compliance with company/client quality specifications</li> <li>Safe and effective handling of products in accordance with their characteristics</li> <li>Dealing with the receipt of meat products from production</li> <li>Checking of products against relevant documentation</li> <li>Ensuring the storeroom operates efficiently and effectively</li> <li>Carrying out stock rotation</li> <li>Preparation of products for dispatch</li> <li>Completion of relevant documentation accurately and legibly</li> <li>Effectively operate company’s computerized system</li> <li>Loading of products for dispatch</li> <li>Complying with Company’s health and safety rules, including hygiene requirements</li> <li>Completing assigned tasks in a timely manner to meet targets</li> <li>Reporting any accidents or near misses, assisting with investigations as instructed/necessary</li> </ul>
<ul><li>Experience working in a similar warehouse / yard or material management environment beneficial</li><li>Manual handling ability and awareness</li><li>Forklift, Electric Pallet Truck (EPT) Essential.</li><li>Shunting (Articulated HGV) desired</li><li>Able to communicate in English in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels</li><li>Ability to work in chilled and cold store environments</li><li>Flexibility to meet daily/weekly distribution targets</li><li>Consistent approach and strong work ethic</li><li>Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team</li></ul>You will be working two days per week between Monday to Friday with a 06:00 am start until finish.
