We are partnered with a fast-growing IT solutions provider looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Team Leader to lead their advanced escalation and proactive engineering team. This role combines senior people management, queue control, major incident response, and technical guidance across Microsoft cloud and hybrid environments. Location: London / HybridType: PermanentPackage: Up to 65,000 Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Infrastructure engineers in the UK while guiding offshore support teams.</li><li>Escalations & Major Incidents: Manage the 3rd Line ticket queue, major incidents, root cause analysis, and preventative problem management.</li><li>Proactive Engineering: Oversee technical health checks, M365/Azure environment assessments, and automated remediation.</li><li>Service Transition: Lead project-to-support onboarding, runbook creation, and operational change reviews.</li></ul> Essential Requirements<ul><li>MSP Leadership: Proven experience leading or supervising 3rd Line or senior infrastructure engineers in an MSP environment.</li><li>Microsoft Ecosystem: Strong technical background in M365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Active Directory.</li><li>ITIL Operations: Deep understanding of incident, problem, change, and major incident processes.</li><li>People & Client Management: Strong coaching capability paired with excellent client-facing communication skills during incidents.</li></ul> Desirable Skills<ul><li>Microsoft certifications across Azure or Modern Workplace (e.g., AZ-104, MS-102).</li><li>Experience with ITSM platforms, ISO compliance standards, or SOC/security interfaces.</li></ul> If you have experience leading strong Infrastructure specialists then please do Apply!
