📍100% Office based (Sauber House) 💰£27,000 + Benefits This is a permanent role (40 hours a week) working Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm within our Finance Department. As well as supplying and servicing traditional cleaning equipment, we also have over a decade of experience in robotic floor cleaning machines. What part will you play?As a Junior Finance Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience across key areas of the finance function, working closely with the Credit Control, Accounts Payable and Financial Reporting teams. You will build a broad understanding of finance while helping to improve existing processes and maintain accurate financial records.you will<ul><li>Support the Credit Control team by maintaining customer accounts, reviewing account activity and assisting with ledger analysis</li><li>Support the Accounts Payable team with invoice processing, supplier account administration and responding to supplier queries</li><li>Support cash and banking activities, including daily bank postings and bank reconciliations </li><li>Contribute to process improvements by identifying opportunities to simplify and automate routine tasks</li><li>Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc queries and projects</li></ul>
What we’re looking forYou tick each of our three Junior Finance Assistant must-haves:<ul><li>Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a fast-paced business</li></ul><ul><li>Strong numerical skills with proficiency in Excel</li><li>A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records</li></ul>Bonus experience<ul><li>Studying towards an accounting qualification would be advantageous but not essential</li><li>Strong numerical and data-entry skills with excellent attention to detail.</li><li>Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.</li><li>The ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.</li><li>A proactive attitude and an interest in developing a career within finance.</li></ul> As a person, you are a self-starter who is motivated to kick start your own projects, welcomes challenges, seeks feedback from others, asks “How can I help” and then “How can we make this better”, shows perseverance on long-term goals, and generally goes above and beyond in their work.
