Company: Valis · Location: Da remoto (Regno Unito) · Work mode: remote · Contract: Full-time

About us
We are Valis - a company building an institutional AI operating layer for mid-market companies: shared company memory, workflow mining and agentic automation.
Why this role exists
Product Designer owns the end-to-end experience of Valis: from the first time a CEO sees it, through the admin setting it up, to the moment an employee uses it every day.
What you will do
Customer journey
• Map the journey for each type of user: CEO and founder, client admin, end user, and our own deployment team. Keep it current as the product changes.
• Sit in on client rollouts and install sessions. Watch real people use the product, and turn what you see into clear, prioritised problems for engineering.
• Define and track experience metrics with the product and deployment teams: activation, adoption, time to first value.
Product design
• Design the core surfaces end to end: the desktop app (daily brief, meetings library, calendar, chat), the mobile app and the admin panel.
• Design the onboarding: first install, connecting data sources, first useful answer.
• Write specs and prototypes that engineers and AI agents can build from directly. Review what ships, and send it back when the experience is not right.
• Questions we have heard: “Why can I only hide a task, not close it?”, “How do I switch between my personal and company workspace?”, “What changed in the app since I last opened it?”
Design system
• Build the Valis design system from scratch, so engineers and their AI agents produce a consistent interface without a design review on every change.
• Keep it in the codebase, not only in Figma. The agents need to be able to use it.
Product communication
• Own how the product talks to users: in-app notifications, release notes, user guides and trainings.
• Tailor them to the reader: a CEO needs to see which of their problems a release solves, and an employee needs to know what changed in their app.

Must have
• 7+ years in product design, including 3+ years owning the experience of a B2B SaaS product end to end, not a single feature inside a large team.
• A portfolio that shows complex products made simple: data-heavy tools, admin and permission flows, desktop and mobile apps.
• Strong in both UX and UI: research, journey mapping, information architecture, and high-quality visual and interaction design.
• You have built a design system from scratch and got engineers to adopt it.
• You have designed onboarding and in-product communication, and can show the effect in numbers.
• Hands-on with AI tools in daily work: you prototype with Claude, Claude Code or similar, and write specs an agent can execute. You use them yourself, not only read about them.
• You shape the product rather than wait for a brief. The product changes daily.
• Fluent English.
Nice to have
• Experience designing AI-native products: assistants, agents, chat, generated content.
• Prototyping in code (React / TypeScript), working in GitHub alongside engineers.
• Experience with enterprise users: admins, IT, security and access settings.
• Good working knowledge of RU language

We offer competitive base, performance-based bonus, and the opportunity to join the team during fast growth.
