About the role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build and operate the cloud infrastructure and delivery systems behind our products. You will help engineering teams deploy safely, recover quickly from incidents, and spend less time on manual operational work.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for technical design, implementation, and production operations. You will work with software engineering and security teams to improve reliability, strengthen infrastructure security, and make common deployment and operational tasks self-service.
Key responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production using infrastructure as code.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines so teams can test, deploy, and roll back changes safely and consistently.
• Operate containerized workloads and improve the reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency of the platforms they run on.
• Build actionable monitoring and alerting with metrics, logs, and traces. Work with service owners to define and track service-level objectives.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, coordinate incident response, and drive follow-up actions from blameless postmortems.
• Implement security controls for identity and access management, secrets, vulnerability management, and software delivery.
• Automate recurring operational tasks and build self-service tooling for engineering teams.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives from design through rollout, document decisions and runbooks, and mentor other engineers.
Required qualifications
• Typically 5+ years of experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, platform engineering, or a related role, with hands-on ownership of production systems.
• Production experience with at least one major cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code using Terraform, OpenTofu, or an equivalent tool.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including automated testing, deployment controls, and rollback strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and operating Kubernetes or an equivalent container orchestration platform in production.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TLS, and load balancing.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience diagnosing production incidents using metrics, logs, and traces and translating findings into lasting improvements.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs in English, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of complex work.
Preferred qualifications
• Experience with GitOps and tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience building internal developer platforms or reusable deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery planning, backup and restore testing, or cloud cost optimization.
• Experience implementing infrastructure security controls in a regulated or audited environment.
