The Design Office Assistant Intern will support the developing of all design activities for womenswear lines.She/He will also support presentations of the line to merchants and sales teams in adoption and proto reviews. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Assist the Woman Designer Team in the following daily activities: <ul> <li>Seasonal Woman design </li> <li>Trend search </li> <li>Research fabric and body styles and implement garment work sheets </li> <li>Mood boards and color cards </li> <li>Sketches and color rendering of the new styles according to the collection structure </li> <li>Work with all members of Design, Merchandising, Production, and Technical Design teams and collaborate in creating design proposal for areas needed </li> <li>Support the design process from concept to completion while partnering with the Head of Designer to ensure alignment priorities and direction</li> <li>Realization of technical sheet, graphics, seasons book and drawings</li> <li>Samples and production’s check and fitting in office </li> <li>Exhibitions, fashion show, technical presentations and lookbook</li> <li>Visual team support</li> </ul>
<ul> <li>Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Fashion and/or Design Arts </li> <li>Strong attitude and understanding of fashion product, style and graphic trends </li> <li>Highly creative with a clear understanding of the Guess Brand DNA </li> <li>Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and design calendar </li> <li>Team player</li> <li>Natural good attitude interaction with all departments involved in the product process </li> <li>Dynamic personality, fast thinker, positive attitude</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li> <li>Good knowledge of computer skills: Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop are mandatories; extensive computer experience in and any other graphic program will be a plus. </li> </ul>
