Position Summary We are looking for a Head of Operations who will be responsible for leading and optimising Infleqtion’s operational strategy to support the company’s growth, efficiency, and scalability. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes across the organisation, ensuring alignment with Infleqtion’s strategic objectives and technology roadmap.The Head of Operations will work cross-functionally with leadership across engineering, product, finance, and commercial teams to drive operational excellence, improve delivery efficiency, and support the successful deployment of Infleqtion’s quantum and advanced technology solutions.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Develop and implement the company’s operational strategy aligned with Infleqtion’s overall business objectives.</li><li>Translate strategic priorities into scalable operational processes and frameworks.</li><li>Drive operational planning to support company growth and international expansion.</li><li>Evaluate and improve internal workflows, systems, and operational processes.</li><li>Implement operational best practices to increase efficiency, quality, and reliability.</li><li>Introduce data-driven performance metrics and reporting frameworks.</li><li>Partner with engineering, product, commercial, and finance teams to ensure operational alignment.</li><li>Support coordination between technical and business functions to enable efficient project delivery.</li><li>Lead operational planning for major programmemes, product releases, and partnerships.</li><li>Establish governance frameworks for programme and project delivery.</li><li>Monitor progress against operational goals, timelines, and budgets.</li><li>Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.</li><li>Build and lead a high-performing operations team.</li><li>Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Work closely with finance to manage operational budgets and forecasting.</li><li>Ensure efficient allocation of resources across programmemes and departments.</li><li>Track operational KPIs and drive improvements in cost efficiency.</li><li>Ensure operational compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal governance requirements.</li><li>Maintain operational documentation, policies, and procedures.</li></ul>Technical Knowledge and Experience <ul><li>Strategic thinking and execution, with a focus on operational excellence.</li><li>Data-driven decision making and change management skills.</li><li>Familiarity with programme management methodologies (Agile, Lean, PMP, etc.) would be advantageous.</li><li>Extensive experience in operations, programme management, or business operations leadership roles.</li><li>Proven experience scaling operational frameworks in technology or deep-tech environments.</li><li>Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to implement operational improvements and drive measurable outcomes.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.</li><li>Leadership and team development skills.</li></ul>Desired Skills <ul><li>Experience working in quantum technology, advanced computing, defence, or deep-tech sectors would be advantageous.</li><li>Experience working in high-growth or venture-backed technology companies would be advantageous.</li></ul><ul><li>An MBA or advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.</li></ul>Travel Travel requirements to be confirmed.Equal Opportunity Regardless of your interest in the quantum industry, you can take pride in the fact that Infleqtion is building an ecosystem of quantum technologies and commercial products, driving the industry towards the future.
