Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Aircraft Cleaner to join a well-respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport. Please note: <ul><li>Successful applicants must hold a Valid UK Driving Licence</li><li>Due to enhanced background checks, this role is only suitable if you have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.</li></ul> What’s on offer:<ul><li>Rate of pay: £12.94 per hour rising to £13.70 between the hours of 00:00 & 06:00 </li><li>Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off</li><li>Shift Timing: Night Shift - 22:00 to 06:00 or 22:00 to 04:00 </li><li>Weekly pay (every Friday).</li><li>Temp to Perm (performance-based).</li><li>Free staff car parking.</li></ul> Key Duties:<ul><li>Clean aircraft cabins to airline and regulatory standards, including:</li><ul><li>Vacuuming carpets and seats.</li><li>Cleaning and disinfecting tray tables, armrests, seatbacks, and overhead bins.</li><li>Emptying and sanitizing lavatories and galleys.</li><li>Removing and disposing of waste.</li><li>Replacing seat pocket materials (e.g., safety cards, magazines</li></ul><li>Restock onboard supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and catering items.</li><li>Drive cleaning vehicles safely around the airport.</li><li>Load and unload cleaning supplies and equipment from vehicles.</li><li>Follow all airport and airline safety procedures, including wearing PPE.</li><li>Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and assignments.</li><li>Work in all weather conditions and be prepared for variable shift times.</li></ul>Shifts available:The airport is operational 365 days a year, 7 days a week so full flexibility is required.This could be subject to change!<ul><li>4 on 4 off</li><ul><li>Day 1: 22:00 to 06:00 or 22:00 to 04:00</li><li>Day 2: 22:00 to 06:00 or 22:00 to 04:00</li><li>Day 3: 22:00 to 06:00 or 22:00 to 04:00</li><li>Day 4: 22:00 to 06:00 or 22:00 to 04:00</li><ul><li>OFF</li><li>OFF</li><li>OFF</li><li>OFF</li></ul></ul></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Must hold a Full UK Manual Driving License.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team.</li><li>Great work ethic.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpretational skills.</li><li>Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.</li><li>Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties.</li><li>Proof of National Insurance</li><li>Proof of (current) Address</li><li>5 Year Address History</li><li>Successful candidates will be required to complete an Access NI following their interview in line with CAA requirements.</li></ul>PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
