We are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives at our fresh potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.As a Packing Operative you will be responsible for supporting production activity by packing finished bagged products into trays, crates and onto pallets. This is a physically demanding role which will require lifting and stacking of trays and boxes of varying weighs up to 25KG. General other factory duties will also be required.Shift & Hours of work: 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift pattern, working 6am to 6pmSalary: £12.71 per hour<h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Accurately pack finished potato products into containers, ensuring that all products meet quality and weight specifications.</li><li>Inspect products for any defects or quality issues, reporting any concerns to the supervisor.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area, following all health and safety protocols.</li><li>Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.</li></ul>
<ul> <li>Previous experience in production or packing roles is advantageous, particularly in the food industry.</li> <li>Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance.</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.</li> <li>Physical fitness is required, as the role may involve lifting and standing for extended periods.</li> <li>Positive attitude and a strong work ethic to contribute to a team-oriented environment.</li> </ul>
