Aviation Recruitment experts Optime Group are searching for Security Agents to join a well-respected and successful client at Belfast International Airport. This role is open to applicants who have no previous security experience but have a genuine interest in aviation, customer service and security. All necessary training will be fully paid and provided by sector experts including support in obtaining relevant background checks. There is on-site mentoring and clear career pathways leading to specialist management roles within our team, so think big! Salary starting at £13.24 per hour Increases further to £13.76 after full training completed Please note: <ul><li>Due to enhanced background checks, this role is only suitable if you have continuously resided in the UK for the last 3 years.</li></ul>These are the types of rosters available.You can choose due to your suitability!Part Time 16 or 20 hour rosters available 16 hour roster<ul><li>Monday & Tuesday 04:00-08:00</li><li>Thursday & Friday 16:00-20:00</li></ul>All shifts can be 04:00 - 08:00 should this suit the right applicant 20 hour roster <ul><li>Sunday 12:00-20:00</li><li>Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 04:00-08:00</li></ul>Full Time Roster <ul><li>5 on 3 off all earlies 04:00-13:30</li><li>5 on 3 off all lates 13:45 - 22:45</li><li>5 on 3 off core - 13:45- 22:45, 11:00-20:00, 07:15-16:30, 04:00-14:00, 03:00-12:30</li></ul>Induction DatesYou can start once your background checks are completed, this typically takes 4-6 week after interview! Key Duties:<ul><li>Using equipment and manual search techniques to ensure that no prohibited articles are taken into secure airport areas.</li><li>Carrying out regular patrols around airside and landside locations, access control, and passenger and x-ray screening.</li><li>Attending to and investigating reports of incidents.</li><li>Completing documentation clearly and concisely on any incidents that may have occurred.</li><li>Responding to and assisting with emergency situations.</li><li>Maintaining the highest level of customer service and satisfaction at all times.</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>A positive, customer-centric attitude with a genuine desire to create a pleasant experience for all airport visitors.</li><li>Customer service experience would be advantage.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and aid in stressful situations.</li><li>Strong observational skills and attention to detail to effectively identify potential security risks.</li><li>Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and adhere to strict security protocols.</li><li>Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine security tasks.</li><li>Proof of National Insurance</li><li>Proof of (current) Address</li><li>Successful candidates will be required to complete a basic criminal record check following interview in line with CAA requirements.</li></ul>PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.
