You will work within an experienced, forces-friendly workshop team ensuring vehicle platforms are maintained to military and regulatory standards.<ul><li>Perform mechanical inspections, routine maintenance, and repair tasks.</li><li>Complete defect rectifications ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections (MEIs).</li><li>Execute platform upgrades, reworks, and fault-finding.</li><li>Maintain workshop safety and compliance protocols.</li></ul>Location & CommuteLocated right off M5 Junction 9 / A46. Excellent local commutable access from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester, Evesham, Redditch, and Tewkesbury.
To be considered, candidates must provide proof of one of the following:<ul><li>Trade Qualifications: Proof of NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 (or Military Trade Proficiency Certificates — e.g., REME Vehicle Mechanic Class 1/2, Armourer Class 1/2, or RAF/RN equivalent).</li><li>Security Clearance: Must be eligible for BPSS Clearance (fully sponsored and managed by E-ppl).</li><li>Experience: Hands-on mechanical experience with military vehicles, light vehicles, or heavy equipment.</li></ul>
