Suitable candidates may come from venture capital, private equity, growth equity, hedge funds, or investment banking.</p><p>The ideal candidate will possess strong financial and analytical skills, a solid understanding of investment principles, and an undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university. Candidates should have experience evaluating investment opportunities, conducting financial analysis, or supporting strategic financial decisions.</p>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence to evaluate investment opportunities and business performance.</li><li>Develop and review financial models, forecasts, and investment scenarios to support decision-making.</li><li>Perform market research, industry analysis, and competitive assessments to identify trends and opportunities.</li><li>Evaluate companies, assets, and investment strategies using appropriate financial and analytical methodologies.</li><li>Prepare investment memoranda, financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.</li><li>Assess financial risks, market dynamics, and potential returns to support investment and portfolio decisions.</li><li>Collaborate with investment teams, company leadership, and other stakeholders to develop data-driven financial insights.</li><li>Monitor relevant market developments, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors that may affect investment performance.</li></ul><h2>Must-Have Requirements</h2><ul><li>Current experience in a finance-related role at a recognised financial institution, investment firm, or established startup.</li><li>Professional background in one or more of the following areas:</li><ul><li>Venture Capital (VC)</li><li>Private Equity (PE)</li><li>Growth Equity</li><li>Hedge Funds</li><li>Investment Banking</li></ul><li>Undergraduate degree from a top-ranked university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics, or a related discipline.</li><li>Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial problem-solving skills.</li><li>Familiarity with financial modelling, company valuation, investment analysis, or risk assessment, depending on the area of specialisation.</li><li>Excellent written communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.</li><li>Current residence and professional availability in one of the following English-speaking countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.</li></ul><h2>Preferred Skills</h2><ul><li>Experience with financial modelling, valuation methodologies, investment research, and due diligence.</li><li>Understanding of capital markets, portfolio management, corporate finance, or alternative investments.</li><li>Ability to interpret financial statements and translate complex financial data into actionable insights.</li><li>Experience preparing investment recommendations and communicating findings to senior decision-makers.</li></ul>
