Optime Group are excited to be recruiting for Train Station Cleaner to join one of our well-respected and successful clients in East Croydon This job offers full time hours, overtime opportunities and an immediate start. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic working conditions and facilities.Requirements: A full, valid UK driving licence is mandatory for this role. What’s on offer:<ul><li>Rate of Pay: £15.03 per hour.</li><li>Shift Times: 06:00 to 14:00 (1h unpaid break)</li><li>Shift Pattern: Sunday to Friday</li><li>Location: Please see below under shifts/location.</li><li>Weekly Pay (every Friday).</li><li>Full training provided.</li><li>Free Rail Card.</li><li>Temp to Perm (performance-based)</li><li>ASAP Start!</li></ul> Key Duties:<ul><li>Supervise and support the station cleaning team. </li></ul><ul><li>Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion. </li><li>Maintain high cleaning and presentation standards. </li><li>Carry out cleaning duties when required. </li><li>Conduct routine quality and safety inspections. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. </li><li>Monitor cleaning supplies, PPE and equipment. </li><li>Report hazards, defects and maintenance issues. </li><li>Train and support new team members. </li><li>Complete shift records and provide effective handovers. </li><li>Liaise with station management and operational teams. </li><li>Promote excellent teamwork and customer service.</li></ul> Requirements:<ul><li>Requirements: A full, valid UK driving licence is mandatory for this role.</li><li>Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a station or transport environment. </li><li> Previous supervisory or team-leading experience preferred. </li><li> Good knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. </li><li> Strong communication and organisational skills. </li><li> Ability to lead, motivate and support a team. </li><li> Reliable, punctual and able to work independently. </li><li> Good attention to detail and high cleaning standards. </li><li> Flexible to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. </li><li> Physically able to carry out cleaning duties. </li><li> Right to work in the UK.</li></ul>For an opportunity to interview for this fantastic role, please submit your CV to apply!Optime Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
