We are looking for skilled, adaptable Auto Electricians to perform complex electrical reworks, custom loom building, component installations, and diagnostic fault-finding on new vehicle platforms (including P/HEV and M/HEV systems).</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Electrical System Reworks:</strong> Install, integrate, and modify complex vehicle wiring systems, body electronics, and harnesses to strict OEM build specifications.</li><li><strong>Loom Building & Wiring Schematics:</strong> Read and interpret OEM electrical wiring diagrams, build custom looms, and perform precise circuit modifications.</li><li><strong>Diagnostics & Rectification:</strong> Execute electrical diagnostics, testing, fault-finding, and rectification on assembly and prototype vehicles.</li><li><strong>Vehicle Trim & Assembly:</strong> Remove and refit interior/exterior trims and light mechanical components as required during electrical work.</li><li><strong>Quality & Safety:</strong> Maintain high build standards while adhering strictly to workshop Health & Safety policies.</li></ul><p><strong>Location & Commute</strong></p><p>Conveniently located in <strong>Coventry</strong>, with direct access via the <strong>A45, A46, M6, and M42</strong>.</p><ul><li><strong>Local Commuters:</strong> Easily accessible from Nuneaton, Bedworth, Rugby, Leamington Spa, Solihull, Birmingham, and the wider Warwickshire/West Midlands region.</li></ul>
<ul><li><strong>Qualifications:</strong> Recognised Auto Electrical Qualification Certificate, NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds (or equivalent).</li><li><strong>Security Clearance:</strong> Must be eligible and able to achieve standard background & security checks (<em>fully managed and supported by E-ppl</em>).</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in an OEM, automotive manufacturing, or high-volume vehicle rework environment.</li></ul>
