Aviation Recruitment experts Optime are searching for Turnaround Coordinators join a well-respected and successful client at Bristol Airport. This job offers full time hours and overtime opportunities. This is a very enjoyable role with a great company providing fantastic conditions and facilities.As a TCO, you’ll be responsible for the safe, secure and effective turnaround of aircraft from arrival to departure. Previous supervisory experience in a Front of House / Check-in / Ground Handling environment is welcomed.What’s on offer:<ul><li>Rate of Pay: £15.95 per hour (plus Holiday and Pension)</li><li>Hours: 30 hours per week</li><li>Shift Pattern: 5 on 3 off</li><li>Shifts: Example times below.</li><li>Weekly Pay</li><li>Temp to Perm (performance-based)</li><li>Upskill opportunities leading to increased rates of pay available</li></ul>Start Date: <ul><li>11th January 2027</li></ul>Main duties include:<ul><li>To consistently deliver the highest customer service at all times</li><li>Communicate effectively with the ramp operation and third-party suppliers to ensure on-time departure targets are met.</li><li>Responsible for coordinating the safe loading and unloading of the aircraft</li><li>Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies</li><li>Maintain a safe working environment at all times</li></ul>Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience:<ul><li>Previous airport experience within a turnaround coordinator/check-in/ground handling role</li><li>Excellent communication skills at all levels</li><li>Have a calm, friendly and professional manor</li><li>Experience of supervising a number of teams</li><li>Ability to quickly and accurately react and assess any given situation and instigate corrective action</li><li>Work well within a team</li><li>Be able to pass a medical</li><li>Hold a full driving license</li></ul>Shift Hours: 5 on 3 off done on a rotational basis Please find below an example of a roster:<ul><li> Day 1: 0500 - 1100 / 0600 - 1200</li><li> Day 2: 0500 - 1100 / 0600 - 1200</li><li> Day 3: 0500 - 1100 / 0600 - 1200</li><li> Day 4: 1300 - 1900 / 1400 - 2000 / 1500 - 2100</li><li> Day 5: 1300 - 1900 / 1400 - 2000 / 1500 - 2100</li></ul>Please note the roster can be subject to change!PLEASE NOTE: As this position is in the aviation industry, successful applicants must be able to provide 5-year checkable history.For an opportunity to interview for this fantastic role, please submit your CV to apply!Optime Group is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
